unlike (most) previous (important) entries, this didn't seem to have been circulated as an email - or did I just miss that?!
anyhow, sorry for replying to this only 2 months later... glad you've come to a decision to stay in Hamburg, though I wish it were easier to get up there (it may be, from Luxembourg - we'll have to investigate). I keep getting that "I wish I had my own, permanent place" feeling, too, but oh well...
afraid can't offer much in the way of advice re flat-hunting (you still are, right?); are you thinking of buying, btw, or still renting, just in your own name?
and what's this website you mention?
PS: letting go of control freakery is all well and good, just don't go changing the Andy we know and love ;)
